Bifacial chopper with crescentic or lunate working edge from a depth of 6.8 m in Calico Master Pit II. Centimeter scale. A definitive chopper subtype in Asia, known as a skreblo. Face flaking is partial on one side, general on the other. All cortex removed. The crescentic working edge is battered, though face flake scars and arêtes are pristine, indicating use-wear rather than natural attrition during transport. D. Griffin photo
